Pick a bubble. Type. Drag the lettering exactly where you want it. No layers to hunt through, no dialog boxes, no learning a graphics program — the words move under your mouse, on the bubble, and stay where you left them.
These are real screens from ComicBubble. Drag through the gallery, use the arrows, or open any screen to inspect the details at full size.
Arrange several bubbles in one panel, tune their text and keep the flow of an exchange clear before sending it onward.
Adjust fonts, outlines, colour and position directly in Bubble Maker so the text reads naturally inside the shape.
Use sharper shapes and bold lettering when a scene needs emphasis, then carry the finished bubble into the compositor.
A finished Bubble Maker asset can become part of a panel, where its shape and lettering support the moment instead of competing with it.
Bubble Maker builds the bubble — shape, text, font, colours. Compositor puts it on the page and exports it. Send to Compositor is the only thing between them. That is most of the application's complexity.
Not through sliders, not through coordinates — put the mouse on the words and move them. Several separate texts can live on one bubble and are drawn at once; click any of them to switch to it. Sliders are still there for when you want the same position on ten bubbles, and ⊕ CENTRE brings lettering you dragged too far back to the middle.
Rotate, mirror and flip so the tail points where the speaker is. The lettering keeps reading normally — not backwards, not upside down. Outlines can be applied to the letters rather than the bubble, in their own colour, so white text stays legible on light artwork.
Bangers, Permanent Marker, Boogaloo, Fredoka One, Russo One and Comic Neue ship inside the application — nothing is downloaded and nothing needs the internet. Add your own .ttf, .otf or .woff and they travel with the project, so it opens the same on another computer. Forty quick colours, one click each.
Import a whole folder of transparent PNGs in one click, or SVG that scales without falling apart; AI and EPS open when they carry an SVG preview inside. A library of folders keeps them organised, with the last twenty-four within reach. When you have nothing to hand, twelve shapes are drawn from geometry — oval, thought cloud, star, whisper, burst and the rest — with fill, outline, thickness, line style, corners and tail direction.
Load several pages at once into a strip below. Sent bubbles drag, resize from the corners, rotate, change opacity, move forward and back through layers, and nudge with the keyboard. They snap to the centre unless you hold Shift. The wheel zooms right under the cursor and 0 fits the page. Saving marks that page done and moves you to the next one, numbering the files for you — and each screen keeps its own fifty steps of undo.
PNG or JPG at 300 DPI, vector SVG for bubbles drawn in the application, or straight to the clipboard. At a 2× multiplier a 420px bubble is saved 840px wide — redrawn from the shape and the font rather than scaled up from a picture, which is why it prints cleanly. Finished pages export at 2048, 4096, 8192 or their original resolution.
No internet, to start or to work. No .NET, no Java, nothing else to install — it brings what it needs. No administrator rights. It saves as you go and recovers on startup, and a single project file holds everything: bubbles, pages, fonts and settings. That file is your backup and the way you move the work to another machine.
