DiskA drive announces its own death months in advance, in numbers nobody reads: reallocated sectors, pending sectors, uncorrectable errors, hours powered on. Disk Manager reads them, turns them into one percentage, and tells you in a sentence what it means. This one has one to three years. That one has days.
These are real Disk Manager screens: drive checks, storage use, driver context and the optional advisor. Each one starts with data the application has read locally, not a generic diagnosis.
Health, wear, spare blocks, media errors, unsafe shutdowns, temperature and hours powered on — taken from the drive itself, not estimated. Above them sits the line people actually want: how long it has left, and a trend showing whether the reading is holding or sliding. Reads only.
Over seven million reallocated sectors, thirty-two pending, and CRC errors on the cable. The same numbers other tools print and leave you to interpret; here they come with a verdict — replace the disk — and an honest estimate in days to weeks. SMART is a strong indication, not a prophecy, and the wording says so.
Green where the drive answers normally, yellow where it is slow, red where it errors — and a failed block is narrowed to 4 KB so it can name the exact address. The full scan walks the whole disk and finds isolated bad sectors, in hours. The quick scan samples about every 25 MB and finishes in minutes, which finds slow regions and large damage but cannot find an isolated sector. Reads only.
Verify-only runs while the volume stays in use and changes nothing at all, so it is safe whenever you like. Repair marks bad sectors so Windows stops using them — that modifies the disk, so it stays behind ARMED mode and locks the volume while it works.
256 MB read sequentially in 4 MB chunks, then random access at 4K, 64K and 1 MB: how quickly it copies large files, and how quickly it starts programs. It is how you tell a tired SSD from a healthy one. It writes nothing whatsoever.
It opens already holding a picture of the hardware — every drive, its health and temperature, the graphics card, the memory — so "is my SSD dying?" is answered about your SSD, with your numbers. It remembers what you have told it, and asks a short question only when the answer genuinely depends on something it cannot know. It can offer you a tool, but you press the button, and the tools it may offer are read-only ones — a whitelist in the code, not a polite instruction.
The advisor does nothing until you paste in a key of your own, at a provider of your own: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Mistral, Groq, DeepSeek, or a model running on your own machine. You pay them directly, at their prices — Sentiora resells no access and runs no AI service, and nothing passes through it. The key is encrypted on your PC, and each service keeps its own.
Processor, memory down to DDR4 or DDR5 and its speed, BIOS, every drive with the SMART method used to read it, and the graphics card. A tick for what it read, a question mark for what it could not — which is how you satisfy yourself that it has understood your machine before you trust anything else it says. Reads only.
It finds the parts without a working driver and looks each one up by its own hardware ID, through the Microsoft Update Catalog and Windows Update. Never a third-party driver site. Finding is a read; installing what it finds modifies the system, so that part needs a licence.
It recognises the "x.dll is missing" error, works out which official Microsoft package you are actually short of, and gives you the official address for it. It never downloads loose DLL files from the web, which is one of the commoner ways a machine gets infected. Diagnosis reads; installing the package writes.
Ticks the disks you choose and runs the application's own functions against them, quietly in the background or with the windows shown. Bad sectors found on the way are reported as a disk warning rather than an application fault, and the advisor can read the finished report if you have one connected.
Cloning, formatting, initialising, secure erase and the write-based tests do nothing at all while the application is in simulation — which is how it starts, every time. Armed, the bar turns orange and stays orange, each operation asks again by name, and formatting wants a confirmation code containing the disk number, in your language.
Health report, health history, system detection, Driver Finder and DLL Doctor — the ones that only look. Secure erase and format sit apart on their own line, because they are the ones that do not.
The reading is taken from the drive itself over SMART, with several methods tried in turn — a direct command to the disk, the SMART built into Windows, reliability counters. If none of them work on your drive it says so, rather than inventing a number. The scale is calibrated against a real dying disk, not chosen because it looks tidy.
localhost:8770 — listens on localhost alone, executes nothing, unreachable from the internetThat is the whole rule, and it does not expire. Thirty days unlock everything, with no account and no card. When the trial ends the application keeps working — you simply cannot write to a disk until a licence is activated.

Driver and DLL diagnosis — it tells you what is missing and gives you the official address, so you can install it yourself.
Cloning. Formatting, re-initialisation and recovery mode. Secure erase. Repair with chkdsk. Optimise, defragment and TRIM. The write-based surface tests. Installing a driver or a missing package from inside the application. And the AI advisor — chat, full check and the local API.
No subscription and no account. Activation is offline: you paste the licence into the application and that is the end of it — nothing to sign into, no server to reach. The trial needs no card to start, and when it runs out nothing is taken away from the free list.
One file. No installer, no .NET to fetch, nothing left behind — it runs from wherever you put it. Administrator is what buys you the complete SMART and NVMe data; without it the application still runs and tells you what it cannot see. Every screen, every message and every warning is translated into twelve languages, down to the confirmation codes you type before something is erased.
No account, no advertising identifiers, no telemetry. Settings and health history remain on your computer. Only features you switch on can connect outward: your chosen AI provider, your email server for alerts, or the daily version check. Nothing passes through Sentiora.
