DiskA drive announces its own death months in advance, in numbers nobody reads: reallocated sectors, pending sectors, uncorrectable errors, hours powered on. Disk Manager reads them, turns them into one percentage, and tells you in a sentence what it means. This one has one to three years. That one has days.
Screens from Disk Manager 2.8.4, the PRO edition. The PC in them is invented from real parts — a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, an RTX 4070 and five disks — but the health figures are not typed in: the application’s own formula works them out from the disks’ counters, the same way it does on yours.
Type, temperature, space, partition table, and a health score you read at a glance. The external Seagate is flagged WATCH at 66% with a red bar; the disk Windows lives on carries a lock and cannot be erased from here. VIEW ONLY at the top means the application is only reading.
The verdict and its advice, the SMART state, an estimate of the life left and the trend from the history — here −15% in 84 days. Underneath, the counters that matter, coloured by how serious they are: reallocated, pending and uncorrectable sectors, cable errors, temperature, hours powered on; on an SSD, wear and spare blocks. The life left appears only after fourteen days of readings.
Green is healthy, yellow slow, red unreadable. Quick samples roughly every 25 MB and finds slow zones and large damage, but not an isolated bad sector — it says so itself; Full reads every sector. Progress, errors, slow blocks, speed and time left run along the bottom. It is a read test: nothing is written.
Every disk's health is noted once a day and drawn as a line. A disk sliding downhill stands out long before it fails — like the Seagate here, from 81% to 66% — while there is still time to copy what matters. Disks at the same score sit on top of each other and read as one line.
Test sizes from 64 MB to 8 GB; sequential in 4 MB blocks, random at 4K, 64K and 1 MB — all of them when nothing is ticked. Each result says what it means for copying files, starting programs and loading games, with IOPS alongside. It reads only: nothing is written to the disk.
At the top, the updates Windows Update offers, each with its own tick and Install the ticked ones. Below, the devices with no driver or a problem, each with Install driver and Find driver, which searches the Microsoft Update Catalog by the part’s own hardware code. Back up your drivers first with one click. Nothing comes from a third-party site.
Paste the error or just the file name: it names the Microsoft package the file belongs to and installs that one, x64 or x86. Underneath it checks by itself what the PC lacks — Visual C++ 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2015–2022, 64 and 32 bit, and DirectX (June 2010) — with an install button beside each gap. Never a loose DLL from a download site.
Pick a drive: it goes through all of it and shows the twelve largest folders and the ten largest files, with bars you compare at a glance and a count of everything it saw. Double-click opens any of them in Explorer. It reads only — nothing is deleted.
Choose a drive and a minimum size, from 1 KB to 100 MB. Copies are matched by content, not name, so a renamed one is caught; each group shows the space it wastes, the first file marked KEEP and the rest COPY. You delete one by one, to the Recycle Bin — and just before, it checks the file is still there at the same size, or leaves it alone.
“Is my external Seagate drive going to fail?” The assistant already knows the disks, their health and temperatures and the graphics card, and its answer can carry buttons that do what it suggests — here a surface scan of D3 and the health history. It needs the trial or a licence and an AI service you choose, and the disk data goes to that service. The conversation was written for the picture.
Pick the disk, GPT or MBR, NTFS, exFAT or FAT32, and a label. Tick that you understand everything is erased, type the code it shows — ERASE D4 — and only then does the button light. RECOVERY mode writes zeros over the whole disk first, for the ones Windows refuses to initialise. The Windows disk is never listed, and FAT32 above 32 GB is refused before anything is erased.
Before any disk is erased come two separate questions naming the disk. The highlighted button is No; close the box or press Escape and the answer is still No, so an Enter pressed out of habit wipes nothing.
A disk opens with a click; the buttons at the top lead to the tools, the settings, the AI panel and the chat. The last line is the promise — anything that erases data needs ARMED mode and a typed code. The name and age are optional; the AI matches its tone to them.
Pick the partition, then Verify only — chkdsk /scan, the partition stays usable — or Repair + isolate bad sectors, chkdsk /f /r. The output runs in the window and ends with the verdict. Repair changes the disk, so it waits for ARMED mode, and the window says where to arm it.
Analyze says how fragmented a partition is and changes nothing; Optimize lets Windows choose — defragmenting a hard disk, TRIM on an SSD. It needs ARMED mode, and on a disk below 50% health the window warns that moving that much data strains a disk that is already failing.
Pick a partition and one, two or three passes, and it writes over all the free space so what used to be there cannot be read back. Your files are not touched. A small reserve is left unwritten so the disk never fills completely, and very small files kept inside the disk’s own table are not covered by this method — the window says so.
The disk’s partitions, each with Resize and Delete, its table and the largest free space; Create a partition takes a size, a file system and a label, and the new one gets a letter. Everything waits for ARMED mode, the Windows disk is never listed, and the table can be converted only on an empty disk.
Ask AI sends the disk’s SMART counters, temperature and history to the AI service you chose, and brings back a verdict with its reasons and the steps worth taking; Copy keeps it, Ask again rewords it. File names never go. It needs the trial or a licence and a key of your own; the text in the picture was written for the picture.
The open disk is the source; the target is chosen from a list and wiped completely. So: ARMED mode only, never the Windows disk or the source itself, only targets at least as large as the source, and three separate confirmations before anything is written.
Random seek for the mechanics, a full read that counts unreadable sectors, the drive’s own SMART self-tests, short and extended — all safe. Then write + read and reinitialise, which write over every block and erase everything: red, behind ARMED mode and a typed code, and never on the Windows disk.
The system — processor, memory, Windows, BIOS; every disk with the way its SMART data was read, NVMe or ATA; the graphics card and its temperature; the installed drivers. A summary underneath, and Copy full report takes all of it as text — so you can trust the numbers everywhere else.
Coloured by age — green recent, amber over two years, red over four. The NVIDIA card is checked directly against nvidia.com, with a button to its official installer; for anything else Find newer searches the Microsoft Update Catalog. The deliberately old dates Windows and Intel stamp on some drivers are recognised, and not called old.
Tick the disks, choose whether it runs in the background or with the windows on screen, and whether it tests the application — quickly, the surface tests touching only 2 GB — or the disks, for hours. At the end: the OK, FAIL and WARN counts, where the report was saved, and an AI verdict if you like. It needs the trial or a licence.
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Mistral, Groq, DeepSeek, a local server or a custom one — plus a simple Offline mode with no key. The key is kept encrypted on the PC, one per service, and shown only when you ask; the model, the address and the reports folder sit beside it, with Test connection to prove it works.
In the background it follows the disks and the graphics card, and warns when a disk passes 55 °C, the graphics card 83 °C, or a disk’s health drops below 50% — the defaults, and all of them yours to change. The warning comes in the system tray and, if you want, by email. Graphics card temperature is read on NVIDIA cards only.
Your mail server, port, sender address, app password and the addresses to warn, several at once. Send test sends one and says plainly whether it left, or why it did not. It works with Gmail and any standard mail server.
No address to type and no account to make: paste the key you were sent, press Activate, and the state shows at the top — here PRO, with its serial. It is checked on the PC itself, with nothing to reach, and its box stays empty even when the licence is active. An address line turns up only for an older key that was made for one. Without a key every feature is open for thirty days.
The installed version, a tick for the daily check, and Check now. Once a day it looks, quietly, and only tells you — nothing is ever downloaded or installed on its own.
Describe what happened and your own email app opens with the message ready, to contact@sentiora.dev. The technical details — the log and the disk list — are saved to a file for you to attach, and a tick leaves them out. Nothing is sent until you press Send, and licence keys are never included.
Everything the application does, grouped the way it is grouped inside it — not a selection. The health figures come from the drive itself over SMART, four routes tried in turn; if none of them work it says so rather than inventing a number. Open a row to see all of it.
localhost:8770, two addresses — listens on localhost alone, executes nothing, unreachable from the internetThat is the whole rule, and it does not expire. Thirty days unlock everything, with no account and no card. When the trial ends the application keeps working — you simply cannot write to a disk until a licence is activated.

Driver and DLL diagnosis — it tells you what is missing and gives you the official address, so you can install it yourself.
Cloning. Formatting, re-initialisation and recovery mode. Secure erase. Repair with chkdsk. Optimise, defragment and TRIM. The write-based surface tests. Installing a driver or a missing package from inside the application. And the AI advisor — chat, full check and the local API.
$29, once — and the three Sentiora tools together are $69. No subscription and no account. Activation is offline: you paste the key, and that is the end of it — no address to give, nothing to sign into, no server to reach. The trial needs no card to start, and when it runs out nothing is taken away from the free list.
One file. No installer, no .NET to fetch, nothing left behind — it runs from wherever you put it. Administrator is what buys you the complete SMART and NVMe data; without it the application still runs and tells you what it cannot see. Every screen, message and warning is translated into fifteen languages, down to the confirmation codes you type before something is erased.
No account and no advertising identifiers; settings and health history remain on your computer. Once a day the application reads the list of revoked licences and looks for a new version, and with a licence active it reports that the copy is in use — the key and the computer only as fingerprints, never an address or a name. Everything else that reaches out is something you switch on: the AI service you chose, which receives the disk data, and your own mail server for alerts.
