Your licence

Applies to all Sentiora applications

A Sentiora licence is a single line of text. You paste it into the application once, and it is yours — checked on your own computer, by the program itself, without asking anyone for permission.

What you receive

Not an account. Not a password. Not an installer that phones home. One line, looking roughly like this:

SDML1.eyJzbiI6IlNETS0yNkgtNEsyUSIsImVkIjoiZnVsbCIsImV4cCI6bnVsbH0.MEQCIH2n

Three parts, separated by dots. The first says which product it belongs to. The middle carries the licence number and the edition. The last is a signature that only Sentiora can produce, and that your copy of the application can check on its own.

Your name is not in it. The middle part holds a licence number and an edition, and nothing else — no name, no email, no machine identifier. That is deliberate: it means a licence can be made before anyone has bought it, and that the file sitting in a shop cannot leak anything about anybody.

Older Sentiora Files keys are the one exception. Until September 2026 that licence was tied to the address it was bought with, and those keys keep working exactly as they did — only a scrambled form of the address was ever inside them, never the address itself. Keys sold now carry none.

Putting it in

01

Copy the whole line

From the first character to the last, including the dots. It is long and it will wrap onto several lines in your email — that is fine, it is still one line. Select all of it.

02

Open the licence window in the application

In DiskManager and OpticalBurn Suite it sits in the main window. In ComicBubble and Sentiora Files it is under the settings. You are looking for a box to paste into and a button that says Activate.

03

Paste and press Activate

The application checks the signature itself, on your computer. It either turns on, or it tells you exactly what is wrong with the line you pasted.

04

That is the whole of it

No account to create, no email to confirm, nothing to re-enter next month. Keep the line somewhere you will find it again — it is the only thing that proves the licence is yours.

What each application does with it

ApplicationHow it checks
Sentiora Batteries 30 days with all features, then 30 days of basic monitoring. After 60 days, activation is required for monitoring; activation and data export remain accessible. A permanent personal licence covers 2 computers. The signed key is checked locally, without an account or email. A daily report sends only licence and computer fingerprints, product and version. Losing the connection does not invalidate a valid licence.
DiskManager Entirely on your computer. It never asks a server whether you are allowed to run.
OpticalBurn Suite Entirely on your computer, the same way.
ComicBubble The Personal edition works on your computer alone. Studio and Enterprise cover several machines, so those count how many are in use and need an internet connection to do it.
Sentiora Vault One payment covers 2 computers. The key is checked on your own computer. Once a day, with a licence, it reports a fingerprint of the licence and of the computer, so that a third computer can be told to stop; it can only be taken away, never given, so no answer means the program carries on. Without a licence, nothing you keep is taken away.
Sentiora Files Entirely on your computer, the same way. A key made before September 2026 also asks for the address it was bought with.

Changing computers

For Batteries, use Remove licence on the old computer while online to release its place, then paste the same key on the new one. If the computer limit is still shown, use Check online after releasing the old place. No new purchase is needed.

For DiskManager, OpticalBurn Suite, ComicBubble Personal and Sentiora Files: install the application on the new computer and paste the same line. Nothing needs releasing first, and nothing needs asking. The licence is not tied to the machine.

For Sentiora Vault, which covers 2 computers: press Remove licence on the old one first, and its place goes to the new one at once. A computer that has not been used for 45 days frees its place by itself.

For ComicBubble Studio and Enterprise, where the number of machines is what you are paying for, releasing the old machine frees the slot for the new one.

If you lose the line

Write to contact@sentiora.dev from the address you bought with, and say which product it was. There is no automatic recovery page, because there is no Sentiora account system to look you up in — a person reads it and sends the line back.

Licences that stop working

A licence can be withdrawn. It happens when one is refunded, charged back, or found published somewhere for anyone to take.

Where it applies, it works like this: the application reads a short list of withdrawn licence numbers from sentiora.dev, once a day. If it cannot reach it — no connection, or the site is down — nothing happens and nothing is said. The application carries on working. It is not a check you have to pass; it is a list that arrives, or does not.

Every product that has a licence reads such a list: Batteries, DiskManager, OpticalBurn Suite, ComicBubble, Sentiora Files and Sentiora Vault. Each reads its own file, signed with its own key — a list meant for one product is ignored by the others. Sentiora Files was the last to get one, in September 2026, when its keys stopped carrying an email address.

This is not the only thing any Sentiora application connects to — DiskManager looks for updates, and its AI features and Sentiora Files' reach the provider you configure. The privacy page lists every outbound connection, one by one.

If yours is on that list and you think it should not be, write to the address above. Nothing is decided by a machine.

What is not collected
